UK - Martin Currie, the independent investment management group, has hired a new telecoms analyst.
Douglas Wight joins Martin Currie on April 15 as a director. From 1999-2001, he was global head of telecom research at Commerzbank in London. For four years before that, he was head of European telecom research at Salomon Smith Barney, to which he moved after 10 years at Credit Suisse First Boston.
Wight will report to Martin Currie's CIO, James Fairweather.
