UK - Derek Lygo, UK investment director at Dresdner RCM Global Investors will leave the firm to join First State Investments.
Based in London Lygo will join First State as head of UK equities, reporting to chief investment officer Stuart Paul.
His move marks the end of six years with Dresdner. As investment director he reported to Neil Dwane, director and head of UK equities.
Lygo will continue to manage the company’s UK mid-cap trust until his new appointment becomes effective in Q4.
