ASIA/EUROPE - Swiss financial giant Credit Suisse Group has made additional elections to its international advisory board (IAB) in a bid to leverage activities in Asia and Germany.
Herbert Henzler joins the board as vice-chairman of the IAB; Victor Fung and Zhenming Chang are appointed as members.
Fung is chairman of the Board of Prudential Asia and the Li & Fung Distribution Group in Hong Kong. Zhenming is chairman and president of CITIC Securities and vice-president and a member of the Executive Board of financial services companies CITIC Holding in Beijing.
Fung and Chang have been elected to further develop activities, including asset management, in CSG’s key Asian markets of China, Hong Kong, Japan, and Singapore. Henzler was chairman of McKinsey in Germany from 1985 to 1998 and chairman Europe from 1999 to November 2001. In his role as advisor to Credit Suisse Group, he will focus in particular on the areas of investment banking and personal finance in Germany.
