UK - Northern Trust Global Investments is to launch a range of new pooled passive funds on its Dublin-based platform.
The funds are aimed at European institutional investors looking to access funds that provide diversification for their global and regional equity and bond investments.
The funds will employ Northern Trust’s proprietary Intelligent Indexing technique which, it says, tracks the index closely and minimises risk by using rigorous quantitative models in combination with sophisticated trading techniques. All of the new funds will also engage in securities lending.
