SWEDEN - The fourth AP fund produced a return of 6.4% in the first half of 2007, bringing its assets to SEK 214.2bn (US$31bn), according to its half yearly report.
Swedish equities which made up 19% of the portfolio returned 14.7%, with global equities yielding 7.2% from a 41% allocation in the portfolio.
A 2.2% property allocation, delivered a 13% return, and unlisted assets, which made up only 1% of the fund, yielded 34.5%.
Since the fund’s creation, its average annual return has been 5.4% and has almost doubled its assets under management, according to AP4’s data.
