Dan Ison, a Baring Asset Management (BAM) European equities manager, has left the firm to join Beaumont Capital.
Ison will not be directly replaced, according to BAM. Instead, his responsibilities have been split up and redistributed internally. Sylvia Solomon will resume active management responsibility of the German Growth fund. She will co-manage the fund with Tracy Collins.
Solomon was previously manager of the German Growth fund, a position she held from 1999 to early 2000. During the past year, she acted as back-up to Ison.
Responsibility of the Europe Select fund has also been given to Solomon. Solomon will co-manage the fund with Maria Polycarpou, manager of BAM's French Growth fund.
