UK - Merrill Lynch Investment Managers has appointed Christopher Wyllie as fund manager in its UK core equity team.
Wyllie was previously a director at Schroder Investment Management where he was responsible for managing institutional funds, heading up the UK equity strategy team and acting as a member of the portfolio construction team primarily responsible for the UK.
Previously, he was an institutional fund manager at Foreign & Colonial.
Head of MLIM’s UK core equity team James Macpherson said: “It is our policy to seek out and attract the industry’s best fund managers, and Christopher fits this role.”
