NETHERLANDS - New Star International has received authorisation for nine sub-funds of its Global Investment Funds for distribution in the Netherlands.
The firm said the registration was in response to the growing demand from European investors for high alpha funds, and claimed it had received significant fund inflows from fund of funds managers and insurance companies across Europe.
The sub-funds of the New Star Global Investment Funds are also registered in Sweden, Finland, France, Denmark, Malta, Spain, Switzerland and the UK.
