UK - Retained firefighters will discover whether they have won their battle for equal pension rights when the High Court rules on 12 test cases later this month.
The test cases – six in Berkshire and six in Kent – will determine whether 15,000 retained firefighters across the UK, with the exception of London and Merseyside, will be granted access to the unfunded Firefighters’ Pension Scheme.
