Global financial service group State Street Corporation has appointed Nigel Thomas as the European Straight Through Processing (STP) programme manager for its investor services division. Thomas will be based in London and reports to Simon Pilkington, vice president of State Street's investment manager solutions business.
He joins State Street after eight years at Baring Asset Management, where he was head of market operations administering all areas of post-execution market trading in London, Boston, Hong Kong and Tokyo.
In his new role, Thomas is responsible for managing the communication to clients and industry participants of all State Street developments relating to Middle East and South Africa.
