GLOBAL - US-based Milliman Global has added Dutch employee benefits consultancy HV&P to its roster.
Milliman, an organisation of independent, international actuarial and consulting firms, said the addition of HV&P expanded the scope of European resources and expertise available to clients.
Based in Amsterdam, the firm provides consulting services to pension funds, the corporate sector and insurance companies.
Pieter van Schijndel of HV&P said the firm's skill set included valuation of employee benefits according to international accounting standards, certifying pension funds, and consulting on funding requirements and forecasting of expenses.
"We selected HV&P after a very thorough search on the Dutch market," said Dominique Piermay, Milliman Global chairman.
Not only are they deeply involved in their local environment, but they have shown that they are eager to bring their clients global answers.
