US - Northern Trust has appointed Daniel Strumphler director of institutional sales for Northern Trust Global Investments, the company's asset management arm.
Strumphler joins from ABN AMRO (Chicago) where he was senior vice president, responsible for sales and marketing of asset management products to institutional clients.
He will report to Robert Gray, director of US institutional sales and consultant relations.
“We are pleased to welcome Daniel to our institutional sales and marketing team,” Gray said. “Daniel’s extensive experience with institutional investing as well as his cross-border expertise will be extremely valuable to our institutional business development.”
Prior to his time at ABN AMRO, Strumphler was senior credit officer, international division for ING Bank in Amsterdam and senior manager of corporate accounts for Toronto Dominion Bank, Los Angeles.
