NETHERLANDS - PGGM has appointed Marcel Jeucken to the newly created role of responsible investments head as the fund looks to grow its focus in socially responsible investment (SRI) as part of a new policy.
Jeucken will head up a team consisting of three other people, but he said that number could increase in the future.
“SRI was always a focus at PGGM, but this year we developed a policy and we are building a team to execute that policy,” said Jeucken.
“We will see if we need additional staff as part of this new policy, which is definitely possible.”
Jeucken was formerly head of institutional relations at Dutch Sustainability Research (DSR) and sales & marketing director at Sustainable Investment Research International Company (SiRi).
