UK - Punter Southall landed a win at Oxford Instruments, as consultants and administrators to the firm's final salary pension scheme, at the expense of rivals Aon Consulting.
Punter has acted as actuaries to the fund for the medical equipment firm for the past nine years.
The Oxford pension fund has more than 1900 deferred and active members, and assets of around £85m.
The arrangement also includes the appointment of PSFM - Punter Southall’s financial management arm - to advise on Oxford’s stakeholder pension scheme following the closure of the final salary scheme to new members.
