UK - Morley Fund Management has appointed Michael Jennings as senior fund manager, global equities at its London office.
Reporting to Andrew Hitchings, head of international equities, Jennings will be responsible for pioneering Morley's approach to global equity theme funds for the retail and institutional marketplaces.
Jennings joins Morley from Sarasin Investment Management where he was a director and manager of global themed equity funds for 12 years. In addition to managing three global balanced funds of £340m, Jennings was responsible for pioneering and developing the concept of global equity management by theme. This included management of the EquiSar funds of £477m, all of which have been awarded Standard & Poor's AAA ratings for two consecutive years.
