EUROPE- Deutsche Asset Management (DeAM) has heightened its hedge fund focus in Germany, Switzerland and Scandinavia by appointing Charles Simeon, formerly of Optimal Investors Services, to its team to sell DB absolute return strategies in these countries.
Simeon will take up the role of director within DB absolute return strategies - DeAM's global fiduciary hedge fund management business.
Mark Bolton, head of DB absolute return strategies for Europe, Asia and the Middle East commented: “This appointment reflects the expansion of our distribution capabilities across Europe.
“We are in a stronger position to introduce our product platform of hedge funds and fund of funds to a wider range of European investors.
