
Berkshire moves into Asia

UK - The Royal County of Berkshire Pension Fund is seeking a specialist manager to take on an £80m to £85m mandate investing in Asia Pacific including Japan.
The £1.18bn pension fund, which is administered by the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, has set the deadline for tenders or requests to participate as 22 January 2007.
In May, the fund tendered a £410m currency overlay mandate, incorporating both passive hedging and active management.
