ITALY - Milan-based fund manager Akros Alternative Investments (AAI) - a joint venture between Italy's Bank Akros and Chicago-based investment advisor, HFR - has launched three hedge fund offerings aimed at the institutional and high net worth communities.
The Everest Low Volatility and Everest Absolute Return funds use several arbitrage strategies said AAI general manager, Paolo Barbieri. The Everest Global Equity fund will have a long/short equity driven focus.
Deadlines for subscriptions to each fund is the 20th of each month.
Minimum investment for all three funds is EUR1m.
