ING/Principal, the joint venture between Dutch insurance and banking group, ING and US-based Principal Financial Group have introduced a range of services related to defined contribution pensions into the Japanese market.
The venture will focus on small and medium-sized companies and will deploy pension representatives in branches throughout Japan. These representatives will provide consulting services to corporate customers, as well as introduce defined contribution pension products.
ING/Principal will also provide support services for defined contribution pension fund operation and management.
