US - Baring Asset Management has boosted its global equity group with the appointment of Ivka Kalus-Bystricky in Boston, USA.
Kalus-Bystricky joins BAM from Independence Investments where she was a European equity portfolio manager, responsible for European fundamental equity research and stock selection. Before that she worked for Putnam Investments in a similar role.
BAM’s global equity group, led by Percival Stanion, head of asset allocation, runs mandates with a wide range of benchmarks including Global, EAFE and Global multinationals for both segregated clients and mutual funds.
Commenting on the appointment ,Stanion said: “Ivka has considerable portfolio management expertise in European equities and her specific expertise in the consumer, industrial and materials sectors will boost the Global Equity team.
“Her appointment and the portfolio management and research expertise she brings to our team further underscores our commitment to enhancing our product offerings and investment talent.”
