NETHERLANDS - Jaap van Dam (pictured) has been appointed head of strategy and research, and chief strategist investments at the e69.3bn PGGM pension fund.
Van Dam joined the Zeist-based pension fund for healthcare and social workers on 1 February 2005. His new role was effective from 1 December 2005.
His initial role at PGGM was as head of inhouse equities, having formerly worked for ABN Bank, MeesPierson and Zanders & Partners.
Van Dam is also a member of the Executive Committee of the Netherlands Association of Financial Analysts (VBA).
