Northern Trust Global Investments (NTGI) has been appointed by Thermofil Polymers Pension Scheme to run a £4.7m multi-manager brief.
Thermofil Polymers is the pension scheme for the newly named Asahi Thermofil UK, a manufacturer of engineering thermoplastics for the automotive and domestic appliance industry.
Commenting on the appointment, Amit Popat, sales director at NTGI Europe said: “The multi-manager investment approach is becoming increasingly popular amongst European investors and we will be expanding our product range in due course to fulfil the increased investor appetite.”
NTGI, as at the end of March, managed £10bn of assets within the multi-manager funds.
