UK - The London boroughs of Hammersmith & Fulham and Haringey have placed their actuarial services out to tender.
The Borough of Haringey has placed its actuarial and investment advice contract out to tender, which will run on a three year basis. According to the 2007 annual report, these services were previously provided by Hymans Robertson.
In the past year, Haringey's £616m pension fund has altered its allocations, reducing its exposure to UK equities from 43% to 30%, increasing global equities to 35% from 27%, almost doubling its property allocation to 10% (from 6%) and introducing 5% allocations to private equity and global market cap.
Neither borough was available for comment.
