UK - Alternatives firm Man Investment Products (MIP) has appointed Paolo di Montorio-Veronese to its London sales team as regional manager, Europe.
Montorio-Veronese joins from Pioneer Alternative Investments, the hedge fund unit of Italy’s second largest bank, UniCredito, where he was chief marketing officer. At Pioneer, he led the global distribution of alternative investment products and was coordinator of the investment committee of Pioneer's first fund of hedge funds, launched in June 2001. Before that Montorio-Veronese was at Morgan Stanley in London where he was responsible for marketing in Western Europe for MSCI equity index derivatives. He has also been an analyst at Goldman Sachs, again in London.
In addition, James Jacklin, assistant regional manager, Europe, will take up responsibility for expanding MIP’s institutional and retail business in the UK.
