UK - ABN AMRO Mellon Global Securities Services has utilised the securities finance platform EquiLend in a bid to strengthen its distribution to securities lending clients.
Under this move, EquiLend will also provide services to Mellon Global Securities Lending (Mellon GSL), the securities lending arm of Mellon Financial Corporation.
Jamie M. Ball, MD and head of Capital Markets at ABN AMRO Mellon, said: “Utilising EquiLend’s services will give us greater distribution for our lending clients, helping us grow our business and meet the demanding needs of the ever more competitive international securities finance market.”
The EquiLend platform works by standardising, centralising and automating front and back office processes, delivering global access to liquidity, reduced risk and scalability.
