UK - State Street Global Advisors (SSgA) has ousted Barclays Global Investors as the largest institutional fund manager in the world, a new survey shows.
The study ranked all investment management firms by total worldwide institutional assets.
SSgA chairman and chief executive officer Timothy Harbert said: “Becoming number one is a substantial achievement, however our focus has always been on providing our clients with the best solutions rather than becoming the biggest.”
