The Institute of Financial Services (IFS) in the UK has introduced prometric electronic testing for the Certificate of Financial Advisors (CeFA) papers one and two.
CeFA candidates will be able to sit their examination virtually and receive their results immediately afterwards.
The CeFA examinations are delivered using touch screen technology in place of examination papers. Upon leaving the examination room candidates will be given their result - and if they have passed, confirmation that they have successfully completed the paper. Unsuccessful candidates receive a feedback report indicating the areas where they need to improve their knowledge.
The launch follows the introduction of prometric testing for papers one and two of the IFS Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP) qualification in January.
