The UK's Pensions Management Institute has elected Ian Eggleden as president, Tony Ashmore as vice president and Roger Cobley as honorary treasurer. The appointments take effect from the PMI Annual General Meeting on July 12.
Eggleden has held senior consulting positions with Stewart Wrightson and Willis Faber before joining William M. Mercer.
Ashmore has managed large pension schemes, such as the Merchant Navy Officers pension fund.Cobley started his career at Northern Assurance Company. More recently he was director, group pensions at Fisons. He is now a consultant of Stamford Associates. He is a fellow of the Institute of Actuaries and an associate of the Society of Actuaries.
