UK - io investors, which specialises in the manager-of-managers model, has announced the appointment of Mike Hook as market development manager for the North of England and Scotland.
Hook joins io investors from Premier Asset Management where he headed up market development for the group. In his new role, Hook will be responsible for introducing io investors and their range of products to professional intermediaries in the North of England and Scotland. Hook brings on board a wealth of contacts from within this business community.
Gary Flowers, director, intermediary business development said: Mike’s experience of the intermediary market and extensive knowledge of investment products will provide a major boost and help us build links with this key target audience.
Hook has more than 15 years experience of dealing with the intermediary marketplace in the North West of England. He has worked in senior positions with Scottish Mutual and M&G.
