EUROPE - Simon Vanstone (pictured) is to take over as chief executive of AXA Rosenberg Investment Management's European operations.
Vanstone joined AXA Rosenberg nearly three years ago as head of its European marketing and sales team. He has held various roles during his 16 years’ experience in the asset management industry, including marketing and sales director for State Street Global Advisors in London and Dubai, and associate director of marketing for Hill Samuel Investment Management.
Vanstone will work closely with CIO Agustin Sevilla, and Pascale Demont, who has recently been promoted to the position of chief operating officer.
“Simon’s experience with AXA Rosenberg combined with his industry expertise makes him the perfect candidate to lead us through the next stage of growth and expansion for our European operations,” said Stephane Prunet, chief executive officer of the AXA Rosenberg Group.
Vanstone succeeds Will Jump who is scheduled to return to AXA Rosenberg’s office in Orinda where he will take on a new role as head of technology and production.
