Scottish Widows Investment Partnership has appointed Steven Logan as a fixed income fund manager, with effect from September this year.
Logan will have responsibility for fixed income credit research and for managing corporate bond portfolios. He will report to Alan Reid, head of global bonds and economics at Scottish Widows.
Prior to joining Scottish Widows, Logan was a credit analyst on the fixed interest team at Standard Life Investments in Edinburgh. He was responsible for supporting two fund managers managing debenture and corporate bond portfolios.
Before joining Standard Life in 1999, Logan was a credit analyst at the Sumitomo Trust and Banking Co Ltd where he conducted industry and financial research and analysis to support credit exposures across a variety of investment grade and high yield counterparties.
