US - FX Concepts has entered into a strategic partnership with Mcube Investment Technologies.
Mcube Investment Technologies is a developer and provider of decision support products for investment management with the key focus on bringing innovation, efficiency and due process to investment management.
Mcube is led by Dr. Arun Muralidhar, who has served as managing director at FX Concepts since 2000.
Dr. Muralidhar, whose focus at FX Concepts has been on the development of the firm's currency overlay business, will continue to serve in this capacity while concurrently acting as Chairman of Mcubeand developing its flagship product, AlphaEngine
John Taylor, chairman of FX Concepts, said this would help form a unique partnership as the firm’s focus was increasingly on improving allocation framework and developing new systematic techniques.
Taylor commented: “We believe that superior allocation intelligence will increasingly become a distinguishing factor in the performance of investment managers - so it is timely that we join forces with Mcube, which has pioneered an innovative approach to good portfolio construction using AlphaEngineTM.”
