GLOBAL - JPMorgan Investor Services announced yesterday the launch of Follow the Sun, a universal, client technology service support system that provides custody clients with technical and functional support in every time zone, 24 hours a day.
JPMorgan says it is the only custodian to offer this level of comprehensive support covering all web-based and other client access tools.
Follow the Sun gives Investor Services clients continuous phone support through a rotating help desk that takes advantage of JPMorgan's regional service centre network in Dallas, Sydney, Tokyo, Singapore, Hong Kong and London.
Follow the Sun uses voice-over-IP technology and intelligent call routing. Voice-over-IP technology, is a new, flexible technology that takes speech and routes it through a network to deliver it over the internet. Intelligent call routing lets the system direct calls based on country of origin or area code so, for example, a caller in Germany will be routed to a native-speaking phone agent.
