FINLAND - Carlo Eräkallio has been appointed managing director of Mandatum Asset Management, the investment division of financial services group, Sampo.
The appointment follows the resignation of Ari Aaltonen for personal reasons. Aaltonen served also in the Sampo Group as the chief economist of Postipankki and the managing director of Leonia Asset Management.
Eräkallio will assume his new role on May 5.
He has previously worked as the chief strategist of Handelsbanken Markets in Stockholm and as the chief economist for Handelsbanken in Helsinki.
