UK - Deutsche Asset Management has lost out to Dresdner RCM in a bid to hang on to one of its senior UK equity managers.
Mark Lovat has quit the firm and is set to join Dresdner in February as a UK and European portfolio manager.
He reports to Neil Dwane, and will be based in London.
The move will come as a further blow to DeAM’s equity team which saw the departure last year of former head UK equities Adrian Frost after 18 years at the firm.
