UK - William M. Mercer has been appointed as consultant and actuary to the new £50m DuPontSA UK pension schemes.
The schemes, with both defined contribution and defined benefit sections, are being set up for the new joint venture company between chemical company DuPont and Turkish conglomerate Sabanci.
The DuPontSA defined benefit section will have 600 members transferring from the former Stevenage-based DuPont DB scheme, and will have a fund size of £50m. The DC section will be open to new employees joining the company.
Mercer will be providing actuarial and benefit consulting services, including advice on international issues, scheme design, risk and legal aspects, and investment consulting. By Madhu Kalia
