UK/US - Barclays Global Investors has appointed Aananth Madhavan to the new role of managing director and global head of trading, research.
Madhavan was formerly managing director of research of ITG – a provider of technology based equity-trading services and transaction research to institutional investors and brokers.
He will be based in San Francisco and report to BGI’s global head of equity and currency trading, Minder Cheng.
Madhavan will lead BGI’s trading research team that has members in San Francisco and London and will also work closely with BGI’s global trading team, alpha research and product groups.
