EUROPE - Axa Investment Managers is launching an Exchange Traded Fund based on the European Public Real Estate Association's indices.
The ETF – part of Axa’s EasyETF product range – will be launched during the first half of the year.
It will be managed by the index team of Axa’s structured and alternative investment management division. Axa claims to be the first firm in Europe to launch a property ETF, which will be listed on the euronext exchange.
Axa head of EasyETF development Bruno Guiot said: “Such an innovation illustrates the maturity of the Real Estate sector in Europe and will further enhance the efficiency of this market by offering a liquid and transparent product.
