But Isis insists equities still offer good long-term value – despite market volatility.
Chief investment officer Robert Talbut said: “We have been warning investors for some time that the investment environment many came to know has simply evaporated.
“That doesn’t mean investors should put their heads in the sand. Investors need to come to terms with today’s higher volatility, to accept it is all part of today’s lower inflation environment and to realise equities still represent a good longer-term investment.”
