UK/EUROPE - PIMCO Europe Ltd has appointed David Viana and Tom Rice to high profile positions on its management team.
Viana, who joins from Goldman Sachs Asset Management, will take up the position of vice president, risk and compliance manager and Rice, who joins from the Investment Management Association, has been appointed vice president European Legal Counsel.
Managing director and head of PIMCO Europe, Joe McDevitt said: “Viana and Rice bring the highest calibre of additional compliance and legal expertise to our team. We are delighted to have them on board.

PIMCO Europe has £13.4bn assets under management and PIMCO is the fixed income platform of Allianz Group. Globally, the company manages more than £217bn.
