NETHERLANDS - Arnout van Rijn succeeds Mark Glazener as fund manager of the Rolinco fund in September.
Currently Van Rijn is fund manager of Robeco America. Prior to this he worked for Robeco for several years in Hong Kong and was also the fund manager of Robeco Emerging Markets.
Van Rijn may also be appointed a director of Rolinco later this year following an extraordinary shareholders' meeting to be held in August.
Commenting on his appointment, Van Rijn said: “My 12 years' experience of investing in emerging markets, the Far East, America and Europe have been an excellent preparation for accepting this challenge. Moreover, the outlook at present for the growth stocks in which Rolinco invests is very promising right now.
Rolinco currently has e1.3bn assets under management.
