UK/US- Ulrik Walther has joined Pyramis Global Advisors, Fidelity Investment's institutional arm, as senior vice president and head of Europe, Middle East and Asia sovereign institutional business.
In February, the firm announced it had hired Owen Thiers who is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with European pension fund clients and other institutional investors. Both report to Patrick Mc Nelis, who leads Pyramis' global distribution and client service.
Pyramis has US$120bn in assets under management. Some 42% of the firm's client base is from outside the US and those represent 32% of total assets under management.
Prior to joining Pyramis, Ulrik was a partner and head of business development at Prytania Group, parent company of Prytania Investment Advisors.
