GLOBAL - Global Investment Advisors - the London based global bonds and alternatives specialists - has launched a new fund in a tie-up with the CSFB-Tremont Hedge Fund Index.
GAIM Market Neutral Fund is a passive market neutral strategy tracker, fund of hedge funds, domiciled in the British Virgin Islands. The fund invests in up in 20 index constituent hedge funds in the equity market-neutral and convertible arbitrage sub-indices of the CSFB-Tremont index.
The fund targets both institutional and high net worth investors, and will marketed across Europe, the Middle East, Southern Africa, Asia, and Latin America. The minimum investment level is EUR100,000 or US$100,000 for both share classes. The fund will be managed by Birol Atikol and Tushar Patel.
Investors will have access to information about the fund’s holdings, including the underlying funds and percentage of the total portfolio allocated to each fund.
GIA is also marketing Capital Protected Notes that are being arranged by Lehman Brothers International (Europe) and are linked to the performance of the new GAIM fund. The notes provide 100% principal protection at maturity.
