UK - Principal Global Investors has turned its attention to UK investors by appointing Stephen Holt, previously of Santander Asset Management, as director, head of UK institutional sales.
Holt will be responsible for bringing the firm’s equity, bond, currency management and real estate capabilities to the attention of UK institutional investors. He will also be deepening relationships with investment consultants and corporate and local government pension funds.
Following his appointment, Holt said Principal Global Investors’ product range was well suited to UK demands. He claimed the quality of the investment team and the firm’s performance record should encourage interest by institutional investors.
