US - Barings has been awarded more than 18 active international equity mandates, that has added $1.1bn dollars in funding in 2007.
Plans that have hired Barings to run funds mandate included: Neville Chemical Company Master Pension Trust, The Lincoln Electric Company Master Retirement Trust, South Miami Retirement System, Alexander Proudfoot Companies, and Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government.
The mandates combine bottom-up and top-down views and targets multiple sources of alpha, while taking into account the historical influence that company, sector and country specific factors have on the movement of each individual stock.
