UK - Morley Fund Management has appointed Iain Richards as head of its corporate governance team, public policy, effective June 23.
Richards joins from Schroder Investment Management where he was associate director and head of corporate governance since 2001.
He reports to Mike Bishop, head of Pan European equities and will also work alongside Anita Skipper, who has overall responsibility for corporate governance and Ross Courtier, the senior UK activism fund manager.
Commenting on his appointment, Richards said: The range and potential significance of governance and investor protection issues being debated in the UK and EU has never been greater.”
