Scottish Widows Investment Partnership has appointed Graham Wood as head of global sectors.
Wood will be responsible for global sector research and, together with the global strategy desk, will run global mandates. He will report to the firm’s CIO, Sandy Nairn.
Wood will join Scottish Widows in June from Baillie Gifford where he is currently a fund manager on the UK equity desk. Prior to this role, Wood was head of UK and European equities at Standard Life Investments, where he worked for 22 years.
The move follows the recent appointments to the UK equities team of David Erskine, Graham Campbell and Tony Foster.
