US - Julie Howard has been appointed president and chief operating officer of Navigant Consulting.
Howard, who had previously served as executive vice president, will be responsible for the overall management of company operations, including business unit operations, strategic planning and human capital development.

Navigant Consulting nominating and governance board chair Valerie Jarrett said Howard had the “full confidence” of the board in her new role.
Howard has worked for professional services firms since 1986 and has extensive experience in litigation and business consulting environments. She began her career as a consultant before serving in numerous management positions, primarily focused on business operations and human capital management.
