UK - HSBC Asset Management has appointed Richard Wisentaner to its global bond team as a senior portfolio manager.
He will report to head of global bonds James Dowding.
Wisentaner, who joins at the end of May, is currently at Insight Investment where he is senior portfolio manager responsible for the management of both single and multi-currency bond portfolios.
HSBC Asset Management global head of fixed income Peter Smith said: “Richard has a wealth of experience in government and corporate bond portfolio management.
“His appointment will enhance our global investment grade capability which is an area of strategic importance to HSBC Asset Management.”
HSBC has also appointed Jeffrey Currington to its European Equities team.
He will report to the chief investment officer of European equities, Philippe Alter.
Currington joins in early May from Pictet Asset Management.
