UK - Giles Calvert-Lee, formerly of ING Real Estate, has joined Schroder Property Investment Management as office sector fund manager of the Schroder Exempt Property Unit Trust (SEPUT).
He reports to SEPUT fund manager, Tony Brown.
During his nine years at ING, Calvert-Lee focussed on investment management for segregated funds investing across all sectors.
Joanna Castle has also joined the SEPUT team as fund manager assistant, also reporting to Brown. She was previously with Richard Ellis where she specialised in landlord/tenant matters.
Commenting on the appointments, Brown said: “Due to its increasing scale, SEPUT has been able to assemble a team of sector specialists whose continued aim is to maximise the return from this fund.”
